Tom Barrass 9: Destroyed Rory Lobb. The dominant defender on the field and controlled the air.

Shannon Hurn 8.5: Enjoyed the wet conditions and just kept bodylining the ball. Had 26 possessions and 661 metres gained.

Liam Duggan 8: Kept driving the ball out of defence and had 791 metres gained from his 30 disposals.

Xavier O’Neill 7.5: His 11 tackles included some key highlights. Had 19 possessions and kicked a goal in a promising display.

Jack Redden 7: Was aggressive. Kicked a goal from a 100m penalty and had 19 disposals.

Jack Darling 5.5: Well held by Alex Pearce but tackled to hurt and still kicked a goal.

Andrew Gaff 5.5: Didn’t have an impact with his possessions. Had 22 touches but only one score involvement.

Jamie Cripps 5: Laid six tackles to set the tone for the team. Didn’t see a lot of the ball as a forward.

Harry Edwards 5: Took five marks and did a solid defensive job under pressure.

Luke Foley 5: Worked hard on Fremantle’s small forwards and laid five tackles.

Nic Naitanui 4.5: Couldn’t top Sean Darcy in the ruck but kept fighting at ground level with seven clearances.

Jake Waterman 4: Only one touch in the first half. Managed two goals from four possessions.

Brady Hough 4: Drifted out of the game in the second half with only three disposals after the long break.

Liam Ryan 4: Floated in and out of the match. Struggled to have an impact.

Zac Langdon 3.5: Kicked the first goal of the game and also laid five tackles but overall was quiet.

Jamaine Jones 2.5: Repeatedly ran himself into trouble in defence before getting hurt and subbed out

Greg Clark 2.5: The sub. Spent 37 minutes on the field and had five touches.
