Perth travellers can experience the Kalgoorlie Cup Carnival without driving.

A new all-inclusive race round package has been launched by the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Visitor Centre.

It combines return Prospector train travel, accommodation, race-day experiences and transfers into one booking. How nice to be at the Race Round without the hassle of organising multiple arrangements.

The package was developed by KBVC in partnership with the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club, local accommodation providers and Transwa.

And, of course, while there visitors can enjoy everything Kalgoorlie-Boulder has to offer, from its gold rush history and heritage architecture to its vibrant hospitality and outback charm.

“Race Round is one of the Goldfields’ most anticipated annual events, attracting thousands of visitors to Kalgoorlie-Boulder each year,” says KBVC general manager Donna Malec.

“We’ve worked hard to create packages that make attending the event simple and affordable, while also encouraging visitors to stay longer and explore everything our region has to offer.

“These packages are available only until July 22, 2026, unless sold-out earlier, so we’re encouraging racegoers to secure their place as soon as possible. With accommodation and race access included, we expect strong demand.”
