The 2027 season of WA expedition cruise company Kimberley Quest is now open for bookings — and they still have some spots in 2026.

A spokesperson says: “We’re extremely excited to be releasing this ahead of schedule as we come to the end of a bumper 2025 season.

“Can’t wait to hit the Kimberley? We still have a few cabins available for 2026.”

These range from the four-day Taste of the Kimberley in October, sailing from Broome and from $5490 per person, twin share. There are also eight, 10, 11, 14 and 21 day voyages.

For 2027, there are the same voyages, from $5640 per person for the four day voyage to $14,050 for 10 days and $21,140 for 21 days.

All cruises can be booked through a travel agent, or visit kimberleyquest.com.au or call the sales team in Broome on 1300 156 035.

THE CLASSIC

For me, the 10-day Adventure Quest is the classic trip — an extensive voyage of the southern Kimberley, visiting islands and inlets (and some secret spots). There are freshwater swimming holes, Aboriginal art sites, opportunities to fish for barramundi. The itinerary includes Horizontal Falls, Montgomery Reef and King Cascade.

THE SHIP

Kimberley Quest II is a 25-metre ship designed specifically for the Kimberley coastline, sailing between Broome and Wyndham.

It is custom designed to visit areas many other Kimberley cruises can’t reach.

There is a spa pool and there are indoor and outdoor dining areas, with gourmet cuisine prepared by the onboard chef.

The ship takes a maximum of 18 guests.
