Ocean Master set to sail full Rotto season

Locally owned and operated Rottnest Fast Ferries has announced that its newest vessel, Ocean Master, will start its first full Rottnest season on Friday December 5, 2025.
It leaves from Hillarys Boat Harbour.
Designed by Incat Crowther and built by Austal Australasia, Ocean Master is the first custom-built Rottnest vessel to come into service for 25 years, says a spokesperson for the owners, Pinnacle Travel Group. The purpose designed-and-built 32m catamaran began service in December last year. It can carry up to 400 passengers and has plenty of space on the bow for bikes.
Luke Crispin, founding director of Pinnacle Travel Group, which includes Rottnest Fast Ferries, adds: “Ocean Master is a testament to our commitment to investing in the long-term success of Western Australia’s marine and tourism industry.
“We’re excited to welcome passengers aboard for her first full Rottnest season.”
Graeme Skeggs, director of sales and commercial partnerships for Pinnacle Travel Group, adds: “It’s amazing to realise that Ocean Master is the first purpose-built Rottnest vessel to come into service this century. It represents an unparalleled private commitment to the success of Rottnest Island, unsurpassed by our competition.”
Ocean Master has stabilisation technology that actively reduces roll and pitch for a smoother ride.
+ A “Rottnest Island Ferry and Bike Hire” same-day return package is $120 for adults, $109 for concession holders and those aged 13 to 16, and $69 for children aged four to 12. Book at pinnacletravelgroup.com.au/rottnest-fast-ferries.
