Community focus for Bunbury Show a success

Show-goers were treated to something a little different at this year’s LiveLighter Bunbury Show at the weekend.

Hundreds flocked to Hay Park on Saturday for the annual event with organisers hailing the show a success.

A new layout and focus on moving the show in a community-oriented direction worked a treat, according to show coordinator Fiona Hinds.

“There was a fantastic vibe at this year’s show and we’re really delighted with how the new layout worked,” Ms Hinds said.

Live music into the night, sideshow alley, eco-friendly workshops and comedy by Pete Rowsthorn were among the many highlights.

“The Bunbury Agricultural Society show committee is determined to keep the show as a free family event and that means we need to get new sponsors on board,” Ms Hinds said.
