Lunchtime concerts give Galleries a twist

Bunbury Herald

An entertaining lunch option is now on offer in Bunbury, with the start of a live music event during a weekly lunch break.

Good Nights has now launched lunchtime concerts, which will see musicians take to a space in the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries.

City of Bunbury arts and cultural development officer Anna Edmundson said the concerts would help to activate a lesser-used space within the city while allowing people to enjoy some live music.

“When I started working here I always walked through the courtyard and thought it was a nice spot that was not being used,” she said.

“The event will be able to activate the courtyard through music.”

The Australind coffee roasting van will be at the event, with attendees encouraged to bring their own lunch.

“Come along and have a different kind of lunch break, enjoy a day out and discover a hidden gem,” Ms Edmundson said.

Good Nights Live Music Lunches will be held at the galleries each Thursday from 12pm-2pm.
