Police have issued a predator alert after a young girl was indecently assaulted at a park in Perth’s southern suburbs.

The victim was at the Don Cuthbertson Reserve at Cooloongup about 4.30pm on Monday when police say a man who was acting suspiciously approached her and indecently touched her.

Rockingham Detectives are investigating and want help from the public to identify the man.

They have released a composite image of a man they want to question.

The man is described as fair-skinned, with short white slightly balding hair, a mole on the right cheek and a left leg limp.

He was last seen wearing a blue flannel t-shirt with red stripes and light blue ripped jeans.

Police would want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam vision from the Don Cuthbertson Reserve Cooloongup at around the time.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
