Busselton have jumped into fourth place on the ladder after a thumping victory over Harvey on Saturday night. The Bulls got within six points of Busselton at one stage in the second quarter before the Magpies put their foot down and went on to win, 24.12 (156) to 6.1 (37). Busselton forward Liam Creighton took a series of spectacular marks and kicked five goals to be named best on ground. The Magpies started quickly and piled on the pressure to kick five goals to two in the first term. Harvey found a spark through Dylan Sellick in the second term as he kicked two goals in quick succession to get his side within a single goal at the main break. The joy ended there for the Bulls as Busselton took control of the match and kicked the last 18 goals to win by 119 points. Busselton coach David Lewis said his side could challenge if they were at full strength. “We have to try and keep everyone fit and healthy and keep working hard,” he said. The Magpies will be hoping to claim two more wins in their remaining games against Carey Park and the Collie Eagles.
