Man accused of indecent dealing and persistent sexual conduct with children to fight charges in Narrogin court

A young man accused of persistent sexual conduct and indecent dealings with children on several occasions will fight the charges. Luardo Nicholas Clarence James Dorante appeared in Narrogin Magistrates Court on December 2, where he pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent dealings with a child under 13 years old and persistently engaging in sexual conduct with a child under 16 years old. The 23-year-old did not enter a plea for possession of drug paraphernalia, in which there was a prohibited drug or plant. It is Mr Dorante’s second appearance in court after he was charged for the offences, which are alleged to have occurred between April 1 and April 30, in 2023, in Wagin. The accused was represented by defence lawyer Elizabeth Hamilton, who requested the charges be listed for committal mention. The drug paraphernalia charge, alleged to have occurred on September 25, 2025, also in Wagin, will follow alongside the indictable offences. Mr Dorante’s bail was extended and he will next appear in Narrogin Magistrates Court on March 10.
