A car crash in the State’s South West caused huge delays on the first day of the school holidays. The male driver of the car involved in the single-vehicle crash has walked away from the incident with only minor injuries. The crash occurred about 9.15am Saturday on South Western Highway near Harvey. The north bound lane of South Western Highway, just north of Harvey, was closed for more than an hour while police and other emergency responders work at the scene of a crash. The crash was cleared just after 11am, with traffic conditions returning to normal. Police had advised motorists to avoid the area and expect delays.
