Bill’s bike nicked
An upset Bunbury resident commonly referred to as “Pushbike Bill” is urging people to lock up their possessions after his pushbike was stolen from his backyard.
Often spotted riding around town with window cleaning gear on his back, Bill Martin, pictured, and his son recently bought a new bike each.
“About three weeks ago I purchased a new white pushbike for almost $700 which I was going to use for my window cleaning business,” he said.
“My son also bought himself a bike at the same time.
“I was so excited to have this new pushbike I rode it straight home from the bike shop.”
Mr Martin said he parked the bike at the back of his house and after about a week of having it he came came home one day and noticed it was missing.
“I only got to ride my new pushbike once,” he said. “All I want is for someone to return my bike.
“I will forgive them, but if they do not return it then it will be on their conscience.”
