Busselton reserves coach Greg Hodson takes out the South Western Times’ Best Mullet in South West Footy

After scouring the South West football landscape and putting 12 of the region’s finest mullets to the test in a public vote, a winner has been decided in the South Western Times’ Best Mullet in South West Footy Competition. With a whopping 410 of the 1246 total votes, the winner is Greg Hodson. The current reserves and former league premiership coach at the Busselton Magpies has been rolling with his iconic mullet since growing up and playing football in Adelaide as a youngster. Hodson won the count, finishing 138 votes ahead of Boyanup Boars Onshore Cup player Michael Maddock, whose incredible ginger effort also had plenty of people talking. In third place was another Busselton Magpies representative, league hard-nut Dylan Patterson, who finished with 130 votes.
