Bunbury Regional Art Gallery is seeking applications for the upcoming Noongar Country Exhibition.

This year’s theme, “your mark, your story – always was, always will be” gives artists a chance to showcase how they want to be seen and heard.

Artists are encouraged to paint, sculpt, photograph, express in mixed media, weave, solder, fabricate, print, draw, perform, project, create a short film and make their pieces represent their views.

Having displayed her works at the exhibition over the past two years, 2019 overall winner, Amanda Bell said the exhibition was a great way to showcase her artwork.

“Coming from a background as carer, I found art as a way to express myself and speak without using words,” Ms Bell said.

“I am really inspired by this year’s theme, it has made me really think about the land we are on and I will be using that as my inspiration.

“This exhibition is a great way to get your artworks out there.”

The BRAG team will be working together to explore alternative options to present this year’s exhibition.
