Bunbury police have allegedly discovered 56 cannabis plants and hydroponic equipment at a home in Glen Iris.

Police raided the Jubilee Road home about 8.30am Friday when they allegedly found numerous plants at various stages of growth, the equipment, several bags of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

Police say the search warrant was a result of ongoing community concern.

A 36-year-old Glen Iris man was charged with cultivating a prohibited plant with intent to sell or supply and possessing cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
