Excitement was building among the Little Telethon Stars for their live TV debut as they posed for The Sunday Times’ front page photo with new Channel 7 favourite Dr Chris Brown.

The famous TV vet received a very special welcome from stars Connor Barrett, Emily Houston, Harrison Carthew and Sophia Marshall — with the foursome equally thrilled to be meeting him.

They could hardly contain their excitement as the time inched closer to the beginning of the 26-hour fundraising spectacular.

Dr Brown was just as ecstatic, saying the Little Telethon Stars bowled him over with their infectious energy.

“They’re a third of my size but they’re just so full of joy and light,” he said.

“They are a good example of what we need to bring to the event.”

This year’s Telethon is set to be filled with love, laughter, unscripted moments and a wealth of panels featuring some WA’s favourite stars as it kicks off Saturday 7pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
