It was an ugly game early, but Australia found their rhythm late to remain undefeated with a 21-11 win over Guyana.

The Gangurru’s couldn’t buy a bucket early, and rising star Jonah Antonio’s hot form from yesterday nowhere to be seen.

Scores were tied 6-6 at the first break, but Perth Wildcat Jesse Wagstaff took charge and dropped a deep bucket as play resumed to overcome shooting woes.

Going back to basics paid off for the Aussies, with Wagstaff setting an easy pick and roll for Jared Bairstow.

Guyana big man Kevin Mickle responded with authority, using two hands for a commanding dunk.

Despite his age, elder statesmen Wagstaff was relentlessly hustling on defence while setting screens to give his shooter Antonio more opportunities.

Australia were put on their toes early, but the class prevailed down the stretch with Guyana running out of steam.

Antonio got over his cold steak sunk the two final buckets to bury the game, finishing with eight points off 4/10 from deep.

Wagstaff had seven points and grabbed six rebounds to help stop the early bleeding.

The Gangurru’s face the Cayman Island in their final pool game tomorrow morning at 3.20am, looking to finish their perfect run heading into the bracket.

Now it’s up on to the Gangurru’s, as veteran Jesse Wagstaff looks to continue the sides undefeated run when they face Guyana.

Jumping to the hardwood, Australia secured a convicing win over South Africa in the women’s 3x3 wheelchair basketball.

Geting up 20-5, ahead of the men’s match that is about to get underway.

Jesse Moore has captured the bronze medal for Australia in the men’s all-around artistic gymnastics.

Looking certain to have at least the silver in hand, Canadian Felix Dolci pulled out an incredible floor performance to jump him on the podium.

Finishing with a 12.6 floor performance for a total of 79 points, Moore trailed the gold medallist Reuben Ward by 0.650 and Dolci by 0.450.

Moore went all out and left everything on the floor, but crucial penalties cost him in the end – walking away with a bronze in just his second Commonwealth Games campaign.

Scotland’s Reuben Ward has been the man to beat throughout and he has set the bar that Moore needs to beat with 79.65 points.

Sitting at gold medal position, the fan favourite is aiming to be the first Scotsman to ever win the event.

Jesse Moore will need 13.25 in the floor to catch Ward.

While Ritam Malik has concluded his effort with 77.4, currently in the bronze position.

New Zealand’s Daniel Stoddart has set the club house lead with a 77.3, there are still 14 more competitors to go and Moore is only 10.9 points off the mark.

Just the floor routine stands between Moore and a Commonwealth Games medal.

He currently sits at second in the standings and will perform last.

Ritam Malik currently sits in seventh place after his 13 point perfromance on the bar, cheekily saying “I’m just trying to be Jesse Moore” after he finished.

With just one rotation left Moore currently holds the silver medal, and now its all up to the floor routine.

Trailing the leader Reuben Ward by 0.55 points.

Inisde the boxing ring, Jacob Cassar dominated his opponent to win on points.

There was no doubt amongst the judges, awarding the Aussie a 5-0 win over New Zealand’s Connor Campbell in the men’s 65kg category.
