SWFL women’s 2022: Donnybrook expected to continue to rise up the ladder with a win over Eaton Boomers

Donnybrook will be expected to continue their ascent up the SWFL women’s ladder when they travel to Eaton to face the Boomers this weekend. The Dons are fourth on the ladder, but are locked with the Busselton Magpies, who sit in third, with the sides having manages six wins each. The score in the round four match was 5.10 (40) to 4.1 (25), with the Dons having most of the play but struggling to convert in front of goals. Donnybrook have not lost since round nine, with dominant victories over the Sharks, Carey Park and Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault in their last three starts. Meanwhile, the Boomers have not won a game in their last six matches, with an agonising one-point loss to the Lions being the closest they have got to a victory in recent memory.
