Kingsley man, 69, charged with 24 counts of child sex offences against three children

A Kingsley man has been charged with 24 counts of child sex offences against three children. The 69-year-old was taken into custody amid Bunbury detectives’ investigation into alleged sexual offences against the children. “It will be alleged the man sexually assaulted three girls in the South West district between 2009 and 2020,” police said in a statement. The man has been charged with 13 counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13 years, six counts of indecent dealings with a child under 13 years, two counts of indecent dealing with a child of or over 13 years and under 16 years, two counts of sexual penetration of a child of or over 13 years and under 16 years, and one count of persistent sexual conduct with a child under 16. The accused is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on January 18.
